HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN DESIGNS IN POWERPOINT
Are you wanting to create a design for your new business or are a beginner and not wanting to buy expensive software? Then this article is for you. We have set out a few simple steps to create your own design, including using gold foil.
Decide on your design and colours
The first step is to decide what sort of design you would like and which will represent your business. Choose your colour scheme and what sort of font you would like. Your logo should be print friendly and you should be able to use your design on any material, whether a letterhead, business card or social media.
If you want to have a colourful logo – rose gold for example, find a rose gold background that you like, taking the quality of the background into account. Once you have found your background, save it to your computer.
Next decide on your font. You can download loads of free fonts on google. Once you have downloaded your font, install it onto your computer. It will then be available to use on Powerpoint.
Choosing a logo image & changing your colour lettering
An easy way to start with a logo image, is to search for icons which represent your brand. Once you have chosen your image and your font, design your logo and words according to your business.
Next, right click on the font and then the same with the icon and click insert image into your text and then click insert image into your icon. Using this function find the image/background that you have selected – rose gold, rainbow or whatever colour you want and then insert into your text and your icon. Your outcome will be as per our image on the right. To finish off your logo, select all the text and images together and group the text and images. Next click save as image. That is all there is to it!
